Spring 2026 has been one of BUYO's most active international seasons to date. Across four events in four cities spanning three continents, we've been bringing our biodegradable packaging technology to the audiences that are actively shaping where the industry goes next — investors, brands, policymakers, and innovators who are moving from conversation to commitment.
Here's what happened, and what it tells us about where the market is heading.
SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026
May 20–22, 2026 | Tokyo, Japan | Booth C563
Our third consecutive year at one of the world's leading sustainability and innovation forums — 700 startups, 60,000 participants, and a global audience of investors, innovators, and industry leaders defining the future of sustainability. We exhibited alongside KGMark, our Tokyo-based partner, connecting with capital and decision-makers across the Asia-Pacific region.
SEA-MaP Singapore Pitch Night 2026
28 April 2026 | Singapore
We took the stage to pitch how BUYO's biodegradable solutions support the circular economy — directly to founders, investors, and policymakers from across ASEAN. SEA-MaP brings together the region's most active sustainability ecosystem, and the pitch night is where innovations meet the capital and policy support to scale them.
Rethinking Materials London 2026
29 April 2026 | Hilton London Bankside
Our second consecutive year at one of the world's leading sustainable materials summits. Over two days, we hosted an exhibition booth, pitched to investors on our next-generation bioplastics, and engaged with decision-makers across packaging, textiles, and consumer goods — brands actively seeking materials that can carry the weight of their sustainability commitments.
interpack 2026, Düsseldorf
May 2026 | Düsseldorf, Germany | Booth 9E09
The world's largest packaging trade fair — thousands of exhibitors, the full value chain in one venue, and the clearest signal of where the industry is going next. BUYO showcased how our upcycling technology transforms biowaste into compostable, microplastic-free packaging — enabling brands to move beyond sustainability claims and deliver real, measurable ESG impact.
What the events tell us
Whether we were pitching to ASEAN investors in Singapore, talking to European brand managers in London, connecting with Japanese sustainability leaders in Tokyo, or meeting global packaging executives in Düsseldorf — the direction of travel was the same.
The sustainability transition in packaging is no longer a future agenda item. It is an active procurement decision being made right now, by organisations that are running out of patience for solutions that only work in theory. What they want — what every conversation kept returning to — is materials that perform, cost structures that work, and supply partners who can deliver at scale.
That's exactly what BUYO is building. Three years of consecutive attendance at SusHi Tech Tokyo is one measure of our commitment to this stage. The depth of the conversations we're having is another.
